As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide 1:1 support for children with autism in our early intervention center in Canton, MI, helping them build communication, social, and life skills through play-based learning. Compensation:
$18 hourly to start
Responsibilities:
Participate in training and apply feedback to grow your skills. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming therapy space. Work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum in a center-based environment. Deliver individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under BCBA supervision. Communicate effectively with families and team members.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Active, hands-on approach to work — you'll often engage in play, kneeling, or lifting small children. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality are required. Passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum - patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are key.
