Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic specialist for our Capable Kids and Families® program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting young children (0-5yrs) with developmental disabilities and their families.

This position is responsible for:

Establishing and sustaining consistent communication with families, primarily through home visits that address developmental goals, link families to community resources, and help caregivers implement strategies recommended by service providers. Organizing and leading parent groups and playgroups, including guided play activities, educational sessions for caregivers, and forums for families to connect, share experiences, and build support networks. Keeping accurate, up-to-date documentation of all services delivered. Coordinating with therapists on the equipment needs of enrolled children. Helping maintain developmental therapy equipment loaned to families, as well as upkeep of the sensory playroom.

Requirements Education:

A bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Special Education, Early Intervention, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, child development, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working with young children with developmental disabilities such as in early intervention, therapy, or family support settings Excellent relationship management skills Knowledge of early childhood disability and development, social work principles, and collaborative practices Join us in making a meaningful difference by leading programs that empower children with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential.
