Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred Background in 1:1 instruction and pediatric caseloads Flexibility to work full-time onsitethis position does not offer remote work Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized, individualized instruction and support to a blind or visually impaired student Adapt educational materials to meet learning needs and accessibility standards Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to implement accommodations and modifications Keep detailed records and contribute in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
