Job Description

Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License (1900 Teaching Endorsement) preferred Candidates with qualifying coursework who meet criteria for a Letter of Eligibility from the state Board are also welcome Previous experience managing IEPs and case loads in a school setting, particularly for grades 4-8, strongly suggested Familiarity working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and a wide range of learning disabilities Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as case manager for primarily 8th grade students, supporting approximately 20-30 individuals Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure student needs are met Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations Partner with families to foster student success and advocate for necessary resources Adapt teaching strategies and interventions to fit diverse learning needs
