What We Are Looking For:

Little Meadows Early Childhood Center is currently seeking a certified B-2 Special Education teacher or a dual certified B-2 Early Childhood/Special Education teacher for a floater teacher starting immediately. This will include both CPSE and EI classrooms. M-F 7:30 am

• 3:00 pm.

This is a 12-month position. Easy parking.

Required Experience/Certification:

B-2 Special Education Certification (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with developmental disabilities in a classroom setting.
• Develop and implement IEPs and IFSPs for students based on their unique needs.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with speech therapists and other specialists to support students' communication and language development.
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Use learning technology and literacy education strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure academic growth.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for students with autism and other special needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Stay current on best practices in special education, incorporating new techniques and approaches into teaching methods.
