Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting preschool-aged children by providing exceptional early childhood special education services in an energetic academic environment. This long-term substitute opportunity offers the chance to make a difference while working full-time for approximately 12 weeks beginning August 25, 2026. You'll be instrumental in fostering a nurturing environment tailored to each child's developmental and educational journey.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher license or appropriate state credentials Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly valued Solid understanding of early childhood development and differentiated instruction Strong knowledge of creating, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to communicate clearly with young learners, families, and collaborating staff Flexible, compassionate, and motivated to support diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to preschool students with varying developmental needs Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student growth in all learning domains Track progress, document achievements, and maintain detailed records for IEP compliance Create a safe, interactive, and inclusive classroom to foster learning and positive social interaction Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and fellow educators Support families with resources, communication, and strategies to ensure student success Enjoy the opportunity to make a positive impact during a pivotal time in children's lives, working alongside a dedicated and supportive educational community.
