In this role, you will provide flexible, high-quality care across multiple classrooms and age groups, ensuring every child receives attentive, nurturing support. Your energetic approach will help create a positive, engaging environment that promotes childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being. As a Childcare Floater, you will be a vital team member who steps in wherever needed to maintain a seamless and enriching experience for children and staff alike. Duties Assist in supervising children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and schoolager, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom activities by engaging children in educational games, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play Provide responsive care tailored to each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as required Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to implement daily lesson plans and developmental activities Maintain a clean, organized environment by sanitizing toys, changing areas, and classroom materials regularly Observe and document children's progress and behavior to inform ongoing care strategies Step into different classrooms as needed to support staffing coverage during breaks or absences Work until 6:00pm
Qualifications:
