Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a contract opportunity making a direct impact on young learners as a Special Education Teacher in an engaging, publically funded private school setting. This role focuses on helping K-3 students with specific learning disabilities (SLD), as well as providing support for one student with traumatic brain injury (TBI). With a schedule of just two days per week, you'll be able to balance your passion for education with other commitments. Key Qualifications:
Current teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with K-3 students, particularly those with SLD Familiarity or experience supporting students with TBI Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Compassionate, positive, and resourceful attitude
