Miami County Educational Service Center We are seeking a professional individual who would like to join our team as an Long-Term Substitute Intervention Specialist in an ESC self-contained classroom at Miami East High School ( 3825 OH-589, Casstown, OH 45312).

• This position is hired and employed through the Miami County Educational Service Center.

Selected individual must be willing to work toward obtaining their Alternative Resident Educator Licensure (AREL) through the State Board of Education within two-years of their hire date.

Will work with students experiencing multiple disabilities. Must have (or will be obtaining) an SBOE license as: Intervention Specialist with either mild to moderate or moderate to intensive teaching fields OR Substitue Teaching License and/or Willing to work toward obtaining an Alternative Resident Educator License

• Teaching Field/Content Area = Intervention Specialist (PreK-12).

Must complete and have satisfactory results on reference checks, pre-employment verification, and BCI and FBI Background Checks The Miami County Educational Service Center provides special education programs and student support services to public schools located in Miami County.
