Desired qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Endorsement Doctorate in Special Education and/or Education Administration (preferred) Proven experience leading IEP meetings and fulfilling executive-level responsibilities in a school setting Deep understanding of compliance with federal, state, and local special education laws Strong leadership abilities, including collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Key responsibilities: Oversee the implementation and evaluation of special education programs and services Ensure all educational activities and documentation meet legal standards and deadlines Coordinate and administrate IEP meetings, guiding staff and families through the process with expertise and care Mentor and support special education teachers and staff, offering professional development and guidance Liaise between school administrators, parents, and external agencies to advocate for student needs Contribute to budget planning and resource allocation to optimize services for students This career opportunity provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement option through Principal Financial.
