This role is perfect for former teachers, education majors, or anyone with a background in arts and a genuine love for kids. As a Part Time Art instructor, you'll lead engaging art activities that foster imagination, self-expression, and skill development. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging art curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, emphasizing creativity and fun. Full curriculum is provided so no planning necessary! Lead hands-on art projects including painting, drawing, sculpting and other visual arts activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with children by encouraging participation, supporting individual interests, and promoting confidence. Ensure all kids are safe, have fun, engaging in creative art activities. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings; youth programs teaching experience is highly valued. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with children, parents, and team members. Passion for childhood development and creative arts instruction; patience and enthusiasm are essential. Relevant certifications or training in special education or preschool experience are advantageous but not required.
