Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Two-Year-Old Teacher and ignite a love for learning in our youngest learners! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills that set children on a path to success. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills for two-year-olds Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions Employ effective behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies when supporting children with additional needs Conduct assessments of child development to tailor instruction and track growth over time Lead activities that promote physical education, fine motor skills, and early literacy development Maintain accurate documentation of lesson plans, child observations, and classroom activities Experience Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers aged two years old Experience developing curriculum that integrates literacy education, math concepts, and physical activity Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers Prior classroom management experience in early childhood education environments Understanding of special education practices and early intervention strategies Ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children using strong interpersonal skills Certification in first aid and CPR is required but will be offered on site if not yet obtained ; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are preferred Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for early childhood education helps shape bright futures. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
