Autism Support / Community Life Coach (DSP) $20/hour | Full-Time & Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Immediate Openings Looking for something more meaningful than a typical DSP job? At Inspire Home and Health , we support adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities in building greater independence, confidence, and connection to their communities. This isn't about sitting in a facility or simply supervising someone. You'll be actively working 1:1 with an individual in the community — helping them develop life skills, explore interests, work toward personal goals, and become more independent. Important — Please Read This is NOT a residential or group home position. Our services are community-based. You should expect to be active and engaged throughout your shift — going to the gym, volunteering, attending community events, practicing life skills, exploring employment opportunities, or finding activities based on the individual's interests and goals. Quick Snapshot Full-time and part-time opportunities Flexible scheduling, 7 days/week Strong need for afternoon availability 20-30 hours to start, with opportunities for 40+ hours Performance-based raises after 90-120 days Opportunity for growth within a rapidly growing organization What You'll Do As an Autism Support / Community Life Coach, you'll work 1:1 with individuals to: Build independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, shopping, and scheduling Participate in community activities, fitness, hobbies, and social events Explore volunteer and employment opportunities Build social skills, confidence, and meaningful relationships Create activities based on each individual's interests and goals Use positive coaching, encouragement, and behavioral support strategies Collaborate with families, therapists, and our clinical/program team Track progress toward individualized goals Provide transportation to community activities and appointments Who This Role Is Great For We especially encourage applications from: Teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff Psychology, Education, Social Work, ABA, and Human Services graduates College students or recent graduates looking to build hands-on experience DSPs, RBTs, CNAs, and behavioral health professionals People who enjoy fitness, sports, community activities, and staying active Anyone looking for meaningful work where they can directly impact someone's quality of life Requirements Dependable, energetic, and comfortable taking initiative Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle Comfortable driving and transporting individuals during shifts Comfortable working independently in community-based settings Ability to pass required background checks Willingness to stay active and engaged throughout the shift Preferred — Not Required Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Human Services, or a related field Experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs Previous experience as a DSP, RBT, CNA, paraprofessional, behavioral health technician, or similar role Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field are strongly encouraged to apply, even if you do not have previous DSP experience. Pay:
