Three full-time opportunities are now open for passionate Special Education Teachers eager to foster growth and confidence in young learners. These contract roles are set within resource and self-contained classrooms, focusing on grades K-6, and offer the chance to help each child reach their full potential.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Previous experience working with students in a K-6 setting, especially in resource or self-contained classrooms Strong knowledge of differentiated instructional methods and IEP implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, families, and students Patient, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning atmosphere for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students' unique needs in resource or self-contained classroom settings Create and maintain a supportive, structured environment that promotes academic and social-emotional growth Monitor, document, and report students' progress toward IEP goals, making data-driven instructional adjustments as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide a cohesive educational experience Engage with parents and guardians to share progress and involve them in the educational process Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other activities as required These contract positions offer the valuable opportunity to be part of a positive, student-focused environment dedicated to inclusive education and professional development.
