To Be Determined Job Description Norris Middle School is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Interim Special Education Inclusion Teacher to join our team. This position will support students with disabilities in the general education classroom through collaborative instruction, accommodations, and individualized support. The position will begin in October with the ending date to be determined. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and support for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and implement effective inclusion practices. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements. Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Participate PLCs, faculty meetings, and other professional responsibilities. Use student data to guide instruction and monitor progress. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students can succeed. Qualifications Valid Tennessee teaching license. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Experience working in an inclusion setting is preferred. Commitment to high expectations, relationship-building, and student success.
