Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Educational Diagnostician supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Belton, TX. This critical position plays an essential role in identifying student needs and guiding teams to develop effective educational plans that foster student growth and achievement.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Active Educational Diagnostician certification required Masters degree in Special Education or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations Proven experience conducting educational assessments, eligibility determinations, and re-evaluations Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams, including parents, teachers, and administrators Proficiency with a variety of assessment tools and data interpretation Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Complete and interpret comprehensive educational and psycho-educational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings as a key member Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers on intervention strategies and data collection Assist in developing, reviewing, and revising Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate evaluation records and compliance documentation Provide expertise in instructional strategies and accommodations to support student success Stay up-to-date on best practices and changes in compliance requirements within special education This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated staff while making a meaningful impact on students lives.
