Job Description

This full-time, onsite contract position offers you the chance to provide essential assessment and support services directly within the educational environment. As part of the student support team, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families, ensuring learners receive the personalized educational interventions they need for success.
Desired Qualifications:
State certification as an Educational Diagnostician Master's degree in Special Education or a related field Experience with administering and interpreting a variety of educational and cognitive assessments Comprehensive understanding of state and federal regulations regarding special education Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical assessment practices
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct educational and cognitive assessments for students referred for special education services Interpret data and evaluation results to determine eligibility for special education programs Develop, review, and provide input for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and recommend instructional strategies Consult with teachers and staff on intervention strategies and classroom accommodations Maintain accurate and timely evaluation records and reports Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing expertise on assessment and student needs This is a rewarding opportunity to work in-person, making direct positive impacts on students, staff, and family members each day.
