Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that support early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and classroom management strategies. Deliver child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including special education and early intervention techniques. Engage in regular communication with parents to discuss student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to child welfare standards. Incorporate toddler care principles when working with younger preschoolers to support their physical and emotional needs. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, movement, and literacy education to foster a love of learning. Promote inclusive practices by integrating childhood development best practices into daily routines and activities. Ensure all classroom activities align with health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications. Skills Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and behavior management methods. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Ability to implement classroom routines that support child welfare and developmental milestones. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and standardized testing procedures. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to foster a positive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth. First aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring. Private school experience or similar educational environment is a plus for understanding diverse student needs. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
