What Youll Bring:

Certification or licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Strong knowledge of strategies and accommodations for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Experience with assistive technologies, sign language, or other communication methods Empathy, patience, and a commitment to individualized instruction Ability to collaborate with other educational professionals and adapt to student needs

Your Role Includes:

Working one-on-one with a deaf student to provide direct support throughout their school day Implementing tailored instructional strategies and accommodations Assisting with communication between the student, peers, and teachers Monitoring progress and making recommendations based on the students needs Documenting daily activities and communication for team review
