Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference as a Special Education Teacher working with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students in a supportive, self-contained classroom environment. Located near New Braunfels, TX, this contract opportunity is ideal for passionate educators who thrive in helping young learners reach their fullest potential. Enjoy a structured school day with student hours from 8:10am-3:25pm, allowing you to plan your schedule and maximize your impact. As a key member of the classroom, you'll support students' academic, social, and emotional development through individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted instruction.
Qualifications:
Active Texas General & Special Education Certification required Previous experience in a self-contained special education setting highly valued Strong understanding of relevant instructional strategies and accommodations Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
