9/13/26, or until fill Cross Curricular Teacher Central High School Central High School has a position available for a part-time (0.167 FTE) Cross Curricular Teacher beginning April 12, and ending June 11, 2027.

Summary of Duties:

Under the supervision of the Central High School Principal, the cross-curricular teacher will collaborate with the Central High School counselor and teachers to create learning opportunities, projects, and experiences through which students will demonstrate proficiency in instructional standards; particularly in areas of deficit and/or instructional gaps. This individual will familiarize themself with core content standards and co-create learning experiences with and for students to apply skill and learning to (1) hands-on learning, (2) real-world experiences, (3) in augmentation of existing classes and learning, and (4) consult student requests to demonstrate learning. This individual will serve a caseload of students aligned with urgent need, pathway exploration, student voice/interest and collaborate with the broader CHS staff to ensure highly rigorous academic essential skill development.

Qualifications Required:
Exceptional Communication:

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor through attire and attitude while providing empathetic, high-level written and verbal correspondence to diverse stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced knowledge of K-12, and 6-12 academic standards and demonstrated organization and application of the same.

Operational Agility:

Proven ability to manage complex recurring timelines and schedules with a proactive willingness to learn new skills as the program evolves.

Relational Leadership:

Skilled in proactive engagement to improve student, staff, and school experience within a shared-space and shared-voice environment.

Adaptability:

Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and work effectively with frequently changing needs/demands.

Required:

Valid MN teaching license.

Salary Range:

$44.00

  • $81.

00 (hourly rate based on the MTA salary schedule).
