Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker/Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children's development, foster positive behaviors, and support their individual needs. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a preschool or daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning and educational exercises Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Apply child supervision techniques and behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary and respond effectively to emergencies Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred but no required Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific needs Certification in first aid and CPR (Child and Pediatric First Aid preferred) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly valued Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create a structured yet flexible environment Effective communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols Ability to handle toddler care, infant care, and general childcare responsibilities with patience and enthusiasm Join us in shaping young minds and supporting families through your energetic dedication!
