Qualifications & Experience Sought:

Valid certification in Special Education, including EC-6th grade coverage at all levels Experience as a Generalist and in Special Education settingsboth are essential Background working with life skills and self-contained classrooms welcomed Track record of supporting students with dyslexia; familiarity with case management preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, families, and administrators Dedication to promoting reading proficiency and individualized learning plans

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated instruction in self-contained and life skills classrooms to meet IEP goals Manage caseloads, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress Serve as a Dyslexia Case Manager with a focus on reading intervention across two elementary campuses Collaborate with general educators, therapists, and support staff to provide holistic support Maintain timely communication with families and document interventions and progress Foster a secure, nurturing classroom environment where students of all abilities can thrive This role offers the unique chance to impact students' lives throughout the school year in a supportive, resource-rich environment.
