Job Description

Overview Join our early childhood education team as a 2-3 Yr Teacher. In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored to the developmental needs of 2-3 yr olds. This is a co-teaching position. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working alongside passionate professionals committed to excellence in early childhood education. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate activities that support language development, motor skills, and sensory experiences Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to meet health and safety standards Support children with special needs or disabilities through individualized care strategies and accommodations Skills Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive guidance techniques Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Experience with classroom management tools and caregiving routines to foster a structured learning environment
Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
