Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Certification with an endorsement in Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist aligned to elementary grades. Experience working in life skills or FASE classroom environments is preferred. Ability to design and implement differentiated lesson plans addressing unique learning needs. Skilled in positive behavioral interventions, classroom management, and collaboration with support staff. Strong communication skills for effective engagement with students, families, and fellow educators.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Develop engaging, accessible lesson plans and activities for the FASE classroom. Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress while adapting strategies as needed. Collaborate with related service providers, instructional assistants, and general education staff. Establish inclusive, nurturing classroom routines that promote independence and skill acquisition. Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and district compliance requirements. This full-time, onsite contract runs through mid-December, offering you the chance to make a real difference during the fall semester.
