Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Must hold valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Previous experience working 1:1 with pediatric students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instruction for individual student needs Comfortable working full-time on-site

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized, individualized instruction to a visually impaired student Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and family members to develop and implement IEP goals Adapt curriculum and materials to ensure accessibility Track and report student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to team planning Serve as an advocate for the student, promoting independence and self-advocacy skills Maintain detailed records and documentation according to school and district guidelines
