Job Description

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education seeks a Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to children and young adults with special needs. In this role, you will design and deliver specialized curricula, develop and implement IEPs, and use data-driven strategies to track progress. You will collaborate closely with behavior analysts, therapists, and families to create integrated, evidence-based plans. Responsibilities Design and deliver individualized and small-group instruction for students with special needs. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with student goals and district requirements. Use data-driven methods to track progress and adjust instructional strategies. Implement behavior support plans and evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with therapists, behavior analysts, and other team members on student plans. Communicate regularly with families and school partners regarding progress and goals. Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with regulations. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Participate in professional development and apply best practices in special education.
