Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a Visually Impaired Teacher providing telehealth services. Responsibilities include:
Delivering individualized telehealth instruction tailored to visually impaired students Assessing student needs and adapting educational materials accordingly Collaborating with educational and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and instruction Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and communications Utilizing technology platforms to effectively engage students remotely Qualifications and experience: Certification or licensure as a teacher of the visually impaired Proven experience delivering telehealth or remote instruction Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive educational tools Ability to tailor instruction to diverse learning needs This opportunity is located in Washington Island, WI, and is offered on a contract basis.
