Applicants must meet all of the following requirements: At least 1 year of working with children - a verifiable teaching, instructor, enrichment, camp, tutoring, or similar experience working with groups of children. NO credentials required. No legal restrictions on working with children Ability to successfully complete required TB test, background screening, including criminal background check, employment verification, fingerprinting, and drug screening (finances covered by employer) Ability to create and lead hands-on art, craft, and enrichment activities Strong creativity, patience, reliability, and classroom-management skills Reliable transportation to different school locations in Sacramento County Ability to communicate professionally with students, school staff, and Bright Synergy management Employment Term All positions are expected to continue through May 30, 2027. About Us Bright Synergy Kids (Learning) Club is a fast-growing enrichment program provider established in 2023. We partner with public, charter, and private schools to provide high-quality after-school enrichment programs throughout the academic year. Our programs include art, STEM, creativity, hands-on projects, and other engaging enrichment activities for students in grades 1-8. Available Positions Position 1 - Enrichment Instructor | Approximately 10 Hours/Week | Hiring ASAP Monday-Friday, approximately 2 hours 15 minutes per day. Classes are typically held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Approximately 56% of the paid hours are on-site, with the remaining time completed remotely for lesson preparation, project preparation, research, and other class-related responsibilities. This is an ongoing position that needs to be filled as soon as possible.

Air-Dry Clay Mosaic Art LEGO Robotics Illusion Performance Masterpiece Makers Other enrichment programs Training and program guidance will be provided. All positions are ending in May 30, 2027. however, shall instructor demonstrate great performance contingent offer for new academic year may be signed. Position 2 - Enrichment Instructor | Approximately 20 Hours/Week | Upcoming Project Monday-Friday, approximately 4 hours 15 minutes per day. Classes are expected to be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Approximately 56% of the paid hours are on-site, with the remaining hours completed remotely for preparation. Final schedule and project details are to be confirmed. Training will be provided. Position 3 - Enrichment Instructor | Approximately 8 Hours/Week | Upcoming Project Two days per week, approximately 4 hours 15 minutes per day. Classes are expected to be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Approximately 56% of the paid hours are on-site, with the remaining hours completed remotely for preparation. Specific workdays and final project details are to be confirmed. Training will be provided. Positions 4 & 5 - Emergency Substitute Instructors We are also looking for reliable substitute instructors who can be available on short notice between approximately 3:00-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Substitute instructors may be contacted when coverage is needed due to an instructor absence or other unexpected scheduling needs. Compensation $25 per hour Both approved on-site instructional time and assigned preparation time are paid. Responsibilities The instructor will be responsible for: Teaching enrichment classes to students in grades 1-8, with up to approximately 20 students per group Preparing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities Researching and developing activities when needed Preparing materials and projects before class Creating a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment Maintaining accurate student attendance and other required records Communicating professionally and effectively with Bright Synergy staff, school staff, students, and families when appropriate Managing classroom activities and student behavior in a professional manner Our expectations: Applicants must meet the following requirements: At least one year of verifiable teaching, instructor, camp, enrichment, or similar group-based experience working with children Ability to legally and safely work with children Ability and willingness to create hands-on crafts and art projects Strong creativity and problem-solving skills Patience and a positive, professional personality Reliable transportation to different school locations in Sacramento county (gas fees are not covered). Locations will be agreed preliminary before signing employment contract. Teaching credentials are NOT required. However, previous experience teaching or leading groups of children is very important for this position. Work Environment & Location Classes are conducted primarily in classroom settings at public and charter schools throughout Sacramento County. Because school locations may vary, applicants must have their own reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to different school sites.
