Job Description

Step into a dynamic elementary school setting as a full-time general education teacher, providing instruction to an energetic group of 6th-grade students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity centers around fostering academic growth and social development in a supportive environment, with a manageable average class size of 28 students. The assignment runs from July 29, 2026, through June 11, 2027, located in Calaveras, CA. Applicants should be prepared to deliver engaging, standards-based lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with other educators and administration to create a positive learning atmosphere. Working hours are from 7:15 am to 2:15 pm, making this a full-time commitment aligned with regular school hours.

Qualifications:

Valid and active California Multi-Subject teaching credential is required Previous experience teaching elementary or middle school students preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to plan and adapt lessons to diverse learning needs Effective communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues
