Youll work a consistent schedule from 7:50am to 3:10pm, assisting a small caseload of K-2nd grade students. What you'll bring to the role: Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar supportive educational care position Familiarity with elementary school settings, especially working with K-2 grade students Ability to build encouraging, patient relationships with young children Strong communication and collaboration skills Reliability and a commitment to maintaining a positive, nurturing classroom environment Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of various students Key responsibilities include: Providing individualized and small-group support to four K-2nd grade students Assisting classroom teachers with instruction, classroom management, and daily routines Helping students with academic tasks, social interactions, and behavioral support Supporting students during transitions, meals, and other activities as needed Maintaining detailed notes on student progress and collaborating with teaching staff Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere This full-time, contract position offers consistent hours and the chance to make an impact in the lives of early elementary students every day.
