Overview:

A building substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Requirements:

Individuals hired will be on site in the building assigned to them Professional Educator License (PEL) preferred or Substitute Teaching License required•registered in Lake County, IL Ability to work with students in grades Pre-K•8 Willingness to be flexible Adapt to new situations easily Strong classroom management skills
