Minimum Requirements Substitute Teacher:
Bachelors degree or higher Must be able to pass a background check. Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Substitute Teaching License OR Tier 3 or 4 Teaching License. If you are not yet licensed but hold a Bachelor's degree in any subject, you are eligible to apply for licensure! Let us know and we can help connect you with the MDE.
Substitute Paraprofessional:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and passing ParaPro exam If you have Bachelors degree - ParaPro exam not required Must be able to pass a background check.
Clerical Sub:
Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) Ability to follow oral and written directions Ability to establish effective working relationships with school district staff while also positively relate to students, parents, and community.
Pay rates:
Tier 1
Teacher:

Teacher Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions. Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.
Paraprofessional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher aides, instructional assistants, classroom assistants or education assistants.
Clerical Responsibilities:
Role reports to the Assigned School District Administrator who has ultimate responsibility for designing and implementing clerical services, along with providing day-to-day and all job-specific instruction Organize and maintain an efficient and effective office that handles a variety of tasks for the administration, faculty, students, and parents of the school. Perform secretarial and clerical tasks of a varied nature. Assist in creating and maintaining a clean, attractive, orderly, safe, and efficient office environment.
