Follow school policies and mandated reporting laws to ensure student safety and compliance with legal requirements. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development, social-emotional learning, and respect for cultural diversity. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation aligned with educational standards. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds in classroom or childcare settings. Excellent classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management strategies. Ability to adapt instruction based on student needs and learning styles; experience with early childhood education or preschool is highly valued. Familiarity with special education practices, literacy education, math instruction, Montessori methods, or preschool experience is a plus. Proficiency in using educational technologies and computers to support instruction and student engagement. Effective communication skills for parent-teacher interactions and collaboration with colleagues.
