QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma; Demonstrates aptitude for job to be performed.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meets and instructs assigned classes at designated time unless appropriate principal/personnel has been notified.
2. Evaluates students' needs, and refers, when appropriate, to school personnel who can best help with their problems.
3. Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment and facilities.
4. Assists administration in developing/implementing policies, rules and regulations.
5. Completes reports and other school related paperwork within time and date requested.
6. Accepts the responsibility and arrives punctually for activities and duties as assigned.
7. Establishes and maintains cooperative relations with co-workers.
8. Maintains appropriate emotional control, physical health and personal appearance.
9. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility as relates to school equipment and suppliess
10. Checks and reports daily attendance.
11. Communicates with cafeteria daily on how many lunches to prepare. 1
2. Communicates with teachers regarding assignments for students placed in ISI.
13. Checks for completion of assigned work before the students are allowed to return to the regular classroom. Returns completed assignments to the teachers.
14. Supervises the community service aspect of ISI if required.
15. Maintains a quiet environment conducive to learning.
16. Strictly enforces the discipline procedures of the ISI classroom in order to achieve behavior modification.
17. Reconciles detention log if required.
18. Maintains emotional control, physical health and personal appearance.
19. Maintains confidentiality.
20. Abides by all district, federal and state laws, policies and procedures.
21. Performs such other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, squat frequently.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently. Ability to walk or move long distances from location to location around the building multiple times each day.
