As a Daily, In-house Substitute Teacher, you will support our classrooms when needed.
Responsibilities may include:
Monday - Friday - 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Supporting teachers with daily classroom activities and routines to include snack time, transitions, bathroom needs. Engaging with children in a positive, caring, and age-appropriate way Provide instruction to students in assigned classrooms when regular teacher is absent Implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives in a safe, orderly environment Perform other duties as directed by school administration Be passionate about building positive relationships with children and families Have at least one year experience working with children in an early childhood setting. Promote a nurturing and learning environment Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment Engage and encourage creativity through art, music, and play Physically able to lift a minimum of 35lbs, work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to engage in physical activities with the ability to lift, sit, stand or walk Have the ability to speak English Work collaboratively as a team with coworkers. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or early childhood education Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, parents, and students Knowledge of school policies, mandated reporting laws, and childhood development principles Join us in making a difference—every day is an opportunity to inspire the next generation!
