About This Role ✨ About Hannah's House Academy Hannah's House Academy is a faith-based early childhood learning center dedicated to nurturing the hearts and minds of young children, providing a safe and loving environment for their growth and development. As a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Childcare Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of these precious children. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time as needed, and we're seeking someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is passionate about early childhood development. What You'll Do ✨ Responsibilities Establish and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and developmental growth. Fill-in for our primary teachers when needed. Provide close supervision of children at all times, ensuring their safety during classroom, playground, meal, and other activities. Maintain open communication with parents and staff, providing professional and positive interactions. Ensure adherence to state licensing guidelines and center policies, upholding the highest standards of care and quality. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces, creating an inviting and functional environment. Requirements ✅ Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must be at least 18 years old. CPR Certified is a must (or willing to obtain certification). Previous childcare experience is essential, and candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and actively engage with young children. A background check is required, and candidates must pass it. Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual individuals are highly valued in this role. A passion for early childhood development is a must, and candidates should be supportive of our faith-based mission and values. Ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential. It's important to note that this is not a full-time position, nor a guaranteed part-time position with a set number of hours. This position is as-need and hours may vary.•Nice To Haves What We're Looking For A servant-hearted leader who can inspire and motivate the team. Someone with a positive and patient attitude, who can remain calm and composed in challenging situations. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow, with a desire to continuously improve and develop their skills. 2 years of experience in childcare is preferred, but not required. Someone who sees their role as a ministry, not just a job, and is passionate about serving and caring for young children. This role is a part-time, as needed position to substitute for our primary educators while they are sick, have appointments, or if the center needs an extra hand for an event.
