In this role, you will support lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster early childhood development, ensuring each child's unique needs are met with care and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a lively daycare setting while making a meaningful difference in young children's lives. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development for infants and toddlers Support child supervision by engaging children in play, learning, and daily routines to ensure safety and well-being at all times Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment for children Support classroom management by helping implement behavior guidance strategies in line with developmental best practices Assist with diapering, feeding, nap routines, and other caregiving tasks as directed by the lead teacher Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification on ECE or minimum of 6 units, training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare centers is desirable Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities and attentive care Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported! Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
