We are seeking dedicated paraeducators to work in both one-on-one and classroom settings, partnering with lead teachers and supervisors. This role focuses on assisting in the instruction and supervision of special education students, ensuring individualized support as outlined in their educational plans.
Qualifications:
Prior experience working as a paraprofessional or in a closely related role Paraprofessional certification, or an associate's degree (or at least 60 college credits) or higher Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment Compassion and understanding for students with diverse needs Willingness to assist with personal care, including toileting, when necessary
Responsibilities:
Work alongside lead teachers and supervisors to provide high-quality support for individual students and whole classrooms Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEP) and planning and placement team (PPT) recommendations Support students with special needs, helping them access curriculum and participate in classroom activities Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the teaching team Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment Provide assistance with daily living skills as required This position offers an hourly pay rate ranging from $18-$24, depending on experience and qualifications.
