Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in delivering high-quality education and care to children, fostering an engaging and nurturing learning environment. This role is essential in promoting the development of students through effective lesson planning, classroom management, and individualized support. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Support literacy and math education through engaging activities tailored to students' needs. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing strategies for behavior management. Provide individualized support to children with special needs, including those with autism and other disabilities. Facilitate early childhood education activities that promote childhood development and learning. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children, including toddler care when necessary. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential. Background in early childhood education or related fields required. Preschool experience is prefered. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management techniques. Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
