Position:

Part-Time Toddler Assistant Teacher (1:30pm

• 6:30pm)

Pay Rate:

starting at $15/hr (commensurates with experience and education)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Teachers in implementing the Life Essentials curriculum to support children's development.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute enriching lesson plans that promote literacy education.
• Engage actively in day-to-day activities within the classroom, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere for all children.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff to create a sense of belonging and care within the academy.

Qualifications:

• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred.
• State-mandated 45 hours of DCF training.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
