We're a growing, project-based microschool serving K-8th grade students with personalized learning, enrichment experiences, and a joyful, family-centered environment. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic paraprofessional to assist our elementary age students. This individual will work closely with teachers to pull small groups for instruction, support classroom management, and help students use technology in meaningful ways. If you have a passion for supporting young learners and are skilled with classroom tools and technology, we'd love to hear from you! Schedule Monday-Wednesday 8:00AM-3:30PM Key Responsibilities Collaborate with teachers to provide small-group instruction and individualized support Assist in managing classroom activities and transitions Guide students in using educational technology effectively Prepare instructional materials and organize engaging learning spaces Supervise lunch and recess with a positive presence Support arrival and dismissal (car rider line) Assist with or lead enrichment activities (art, Spanish, crafts, music, P.E.)

Optional:

Assist with before- or after-care extended day programs Qualifications Experience in an educational or childcare setting preferred Proficient with computers and comfortable using/teaching tech-based tools Strong communication and classroom management skills Energetic, enthusiastic, and patient with a range of age groups (K-7) Available during school hours Monday-Wednesday Why Work at Lighthouse?
