Job Description

The Learning Experience - Davenport West in Davenport, FL is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support classroom teachers in caring for and educating children from infancy through kindergarten. In this role, you'll help implement play-based curriculum, supervise children to ensure safety, support social-emotional development, and maintain a clean, engaging classroom. You'll assist with daily routines, document children's progress, and communicate positively with families. Responsibilities Support implementation of play-based curriculum and daily lesson plans. Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being at all times. Assist with classroom routines, including meals, naps, and transitions. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Support children's social-emotional development and positive behavior. Communicate respectfully and professionally with families and teammates. Document observations and assist with tracking children's progress. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom activities. Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support center goals.
