Duties Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons across subjects such as literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Assist with classroom management to ensure a safe, organized, and inclusive environment that promotes positive behavior and active participation. Engage children in educational activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while fostering their social skills. Help with daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and well-being. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress and adapt support strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children's activities and developmental milestones. Support curriculum development efforts by preparing materials and setting up learning stations aligned with educational standards. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, including experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students. Technical proficiency in using educational tools, digital resources, or classroom management software. Demonstrated ability to work patiently and energetically with young children across various developmental stages.
