Mobiles Assistant Teacher Job Type:

Competitive, based on experience About Us Project Youth Daycare is a licensed childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Mobiles Assistant Teacher to support our infant classroom and help provide exceptional care during one of the most important stages of a child's development. Position Summary The Mobiles Assistant Teacher works alongside the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for infants who are beginning to crawl, explore, and develop new skills. This position assists with daily care routines, developmental activities, classroom organization, and maintaining a clean and nurturing learning environment. ResponsibilitiesChild Care & Supervision Provide attentive care and active supervision throughout the day. Meet each infant's individual feeding, diapering, sleeping, and comfort needs. Follow each child's daily schedule and care plan. Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate interactions and activities. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment at all times. Classroom Support & Learning Assist the Lead Teacher with implementing developmentally appropriate activities. Encourage sensory exploration, movement, language development, and social interaction. Read, sing, and interact with children throughout the day. Help prepare classroom materials and maintain engaging learning spaces. Documentation & Communication Record daily feedings, diaper changes, naps, activities, and observations using the Procare app. Communicate effectively with the Lead Teacher and other staff members. Help foster positive relationships with families through daily communication. Classroom Environment Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Clean and sanitize toys, furniture, bottles, and classroom equipment. Assist with classroom setup and organization. Follow all DHS licensing requirements and Project Youth policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Ability to pass a criminal background check. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain and maintain certification). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, patient, caring, and professional. Ability to provide nurturing care to infants. Preferred Previous childcare, daycare, or infant care experience. CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education. Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate care. Passion for working with young children. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely lift infants and toddlers throughout the day. Ability to actively supervise children indoors and outdoors. Ability to work in an environment where exposure to common childhood illnesses may occur.
