Job Goal:

A Special Education Associate/Para Educator provides support to the classroom teacher and students in the area of instruction, recreation, classroom organization and maintenance, record keeping and home/community relations. The associate works collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student learning, development, and success.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma and at least 18 year of age. Ability to communication effectively with students, parents, staff and administration Ability to maintain confidentiality\nAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team.\nDemonstrated patience, compassion, and a willingness to support students with diverse learning needs.

Essential Functions:
