What We're Looking For:

Active Illinois Paraprofessional license Experience working with children in an educational, behavioral health, or special education setting preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliability and the ability to adapt to changing classroom needs

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student within a RISE classroom Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, and behavior management according to individualized plans Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff Track and document student progress and maintain confidentiality Implement classroom accommodations as directed by the educational team Support the development of social, emotional, and communication skills This full-time contract offers 37.5 hours per week during the school year, providing you with stability and a structured schedule.
