Position Highlights:

Work onsite at a single school in a K-2 Instructional Program Classroom Monday through Friday schedule, 35 hours per week (7:50am3:10pm) Primarily classroom instruction with some personal care responsibilities, including toileting, feeding, and lifting Serve as a valued support for both students and teachers throughout the school day

Qualifications & Experience:

ISBE Approval or Short Term Approval (a straightforward process if not already in hand) Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school support capacity preferred Ability and willingness to assist students with personal care needs, showing empathy and professionalism Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and young children

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers with lesson delivery, differentiated instruction, and classroom activities Aid students in following classroom routines and engaging with learning materials Provide personal care when necessary to promote comfort, safety, and dignity Foster an encouraging, supportive environment for all students
