Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teachers Aide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Your energetic presence and proactive approach will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where every child feels valued and inspired to explore and learn. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on early childhood development, literacy, math, and social skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment. Supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, rest periods, and transitions to ensure their safety and well-being. Engage children in educational activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking using educational technologies and hands-on materials. Communicate effectively with children to foster language development and social skills while providing mentorship and emotional support. Collaborate with teachers to monitor each child's progress, document observations, and assist with assessments aligned with educational standards such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Maintain open communication with the director regarding children's development. Any concern's pertaining to children should be discused with the Director. It is the director's responsibility to discuss concerns with parents, not Teachers Aides. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in classroom or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom behavior regulation is essential. Familiarity with special education strategies, including experience working with children with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members. Ability to follow educational compliance regulations and understand relevant educational policies such as ESSA. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or must be obtained upon hiring. Experience using computers for educational technologies or documentation purposes is advantageous.
