Teacher Assistant Trent Montessori - 3.6 Newport, KY Job Details Part-time $13 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Student supervision Collaboration Working with students Student behavioral guidance Teacher-directed learning Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers and foster a positive and safe environment. This teacher would assist in our transitions through lunch, hallway/restroom breaks and rest time. We are looking for someone who has a passion with working with young children (3-6 year olds) and can work well with other staff members. Duties Foster a caring and nurturing environment by demonstrating patience and understanding with children. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom setting. Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement educational activities that meet diverse student needs. Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other school-related activities. Support students' social-emotional development by encouraging positive interactions and behavior. Skills Patience and understanding when working with children of various ages and abilities. Loving, caring attitude that promotes a supportive classroom environment. Ability to work well as part of a team, collaborating effectively with teachers and staff. Strong communication skills to assist in student learning and interact positively with colleagues, students, and parents. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the classroom setting. This position would be ideal for someone looking for a part time job, with the ability to pick up more hours if someone were to call in.
Pay:
$13.00 - $18.00 per hour
