Job Description

Experience the rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with an elementary student in a supportive and engaging school environment. This onsite paraprofessional contract provides the chance to make a direct impact in a students life, supporting their educational and behavioral growth each school day.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience in school settings is highly valued Experience working with students who have behavioral needs is preferred Ability to build rapport and maintain patience and empathy with young learners Strong communication and collaboration skills with teaching staff and families High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support and guidance to an assigned elementary student throughout the school day Implement accommodation plans and behavior strategies under the direction of special education and classroom teachers Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for learning and social development Proactively assist the student with academic tasks, social skills, and participation in classroom activities Communicate observations, progress, and concerns to appropriate school staff Model and encourage appropriate behaviors, reinforcing positive choices This role follows a convenient Monday through Friday schedule, working onsite from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 35 hours per week during the academic calendar. The contract extends through May 2027, offering long-term professional experience and the satisfaction of supporting a students day-to-day success.
